岡部明子研究室
館山 TATEYAMA
房総半島の南端に位置する千葉県館山市におけるコミュニティ再生活動。
かつての経済的繁栄や社会の循環システムを失いつつある地方都市において、「まちなか」と「さと」という2つの地域をどちらも捨てることなく、現状を活かしながら人の暮らす環境をケアし、コミュニティを強化していくにはどうするべきか。
東京から離れすぎていないことと、半島であるという立地を活かし、地方都市再生の一つのロールモデルとなることを目指して、実践活動に取り組んでいる。
We work with community in Tateyama, Chiba, which located in the southern part of Chiba.
In urban area we start to lose circulation system of the former economic prosperity and social. We have "Machinaka" and "Sato" projects in Tateyama. The idea is the involvement of us in strengthen the existing community and activities in Tateyama together with local people.
Since the location of Tateyama s not far from Tokyo, we hope Tateyama project could become one of the role models of local urban renewal. We work with the spirit of on-hands on activities.
温暖な気候、そして海と山に恵まれた地で、誰もが高齢者となってもぎりぎりまで安心して豊かに暮し続けられる集落を目指し、地域住民と岡部研究室がお互いを補完しあいながら里づくりの仕組みを考えるプロジェクト。地域の利益に繋がる地域マネジメントを行いながら、サステイナブルな里山保全、里山集落の都市的位置づけの研究を行う。かやぶき古民家のリノベーションをしながら、地域のお茶の間として、地域住民と岡部研究室の拠点にし、｢外から来る人を巻き込んで里の風景を維持するしくみ｣を実践する場として利用している。
Community design project with architectural intervention "Gonjiro" (2009-)
Field activities such as re-thatching a traditional farmer's house, einsertingf new kitchen facilities in the ruined kitchen-building, and reclaiming an original multipurpose space, Doma, with local people and students. This is research by design practice to tackle the aging and depopulating society in Japan.
「まちなか」プロジェクト（2009〜） [ISSUU]
かつての商店街のあり方を踏襲し、ハード・ソフトの両面から「学ぶ場・人を育てる場」としての商店街を取り戻すプロジェクト。商店街の空きビルをリノベーションした「まちなか交流館」を拠点として、入居者自らが改修を行いながらコミュニティビジネスを見出す「住む＋働く」の新しいモデルを提案している。
Former project that followed the shopping district of the way, regain the mall as a "learning place to foster a place-people" from both sides of the hard and soft. And renovation of the mall vacant buildings of the "Machinaka Exchange Center" as a base, residents have proposed a new model of "live + work" to find a community business while carrying out renovation.
